Constructed with trademarked Roplene rotationally molded plastic construction technology, the Triumph Skiff 1700 features dual wall uni-hull construction that provides a fully finished interior and a tough exterior with five times the impact resistance of fiberglass that will never crack, blister, peel or fade, according to press release from the manufacturer. Filling the space between the interior and exterior walls is foaming polyethylene that reportedly creates unmatched structural integrity, water impermeable flotation and impact resistance. The 1700 Skiff, like all Triumph's, provides a distinctively smooth, dry and quiet ride.
Triumph Skiff 1700 offers a capacity of 1,800 pounds and 9 persons. With a floor measuring 80 inches and an overall length measuring 17 feet 8 inches, the Triumph Skiff provides a spacious 93 square feet of deck space. Whether it's a bunch of fishing buddies, stacks of crab pots, an ATV or the whole family - Triumph's skiff carries it all. Drawing only 6 inches of water the Triumph 1700 Skiff can get into the shallowest flats, tidal creeks, mangroves and backwaters. A 7.5 degree dead rise and a "V" bow entry combine to deliver superior handling and a dry ride. Triumph's self-bailing stay dry deck ensures the Triumph Skiff's cockpit sheds water and allows simple hose down clean-up.
The Triumph 1700 Skiff is offered in two packages. Package A is configured with two 6.6 gallon portable fuel tanks under the rear deck and 25 gallon live well in the console. Package B is configured with one 18 gallon portable fuel tank in the console and 25 gallon live well in the rear deck. In the future, Triumph will offer a range of seating, console and accessory options for the 1700 Skiff that will provide individual buyers and owners the opportunity to customize their skiff.
Triumph 1700 Skiff is a value packed boat bargain. At only 1,400 pounds dry weight, the Triumph Skiff delivers vigorous performance with an economical 50 to 75 horsepower outboard engine.
